How to join the UWE Technology Society
Congratulations! You are well on your way to join a great and exciting society! The membership fee of five pounds makes you a member for the full academic year. You can join the society by doing either:
Option 1: Online
Joining to the society can be painless online. You need to have a valid paypal account, to pay the membership for the society.
Go to the Students' Union website, and login. Once you are logged in, go to the Sports and Societies section on your left. In the 'Join up to Sports and Societies' -section, select along the Societies list 'Technology', and hit 'Join'. Hit 'add to basket', 'View Basket' and then 'Checkout'. The following pages will guide you through the Paypal process.
Option 2: At the local Students' Union
In every campus, there is an UWESU office. If you present yourself there, they will give you a small form to fill in. You keep the yellow copy, and you return the white front of the form and the membership fee back to the office person.
Insurance
There is one more thing to do once you have done either one from the above. You need to get to your local UWESU office to get the back of your UWESU card stickered. This will prove that you have paid, and that you are fully insured.
